The Stratos technology department provides a full service helpdesk, management and support of all technology assets, strategic direction through technology, and business continuity planning for our individual partners as well as firm wide. We work to deliver technology services that align with partner requests and requirements while striving to consistently deliver innovative solutions and minimizing operating expenses.

Support from our technology department begins once an individual or team chooses to join Stratos. Whether joining an already existing office or opening a new location we will provide technical expertise through the entire onboarding process. Some areas we provide assistance are data and telecommunications procurement, branch office network infrastructure, DBA procurement, email hosting, and technical contract negotiation and review.

Once a partner has onboarded with us our help-desk becomes a valuable resource to your day to day business operations. With a dedicated toll free number directly to our help-desk, technical assistance from one of our professionals is a quick phone call away. Our professional are equipped with robust software to provide remote assistance from anywhere a partner has an internet connection. General technology assistance is available Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm EST. For systems down emergencies and west coast operations a 24/7 on call technician is available on a call back basis.

Jacob Stewart

Jacob Stewart is the Director of Information Technology for Stratos. His team provides full service helpdesk support firm wide. Along with supervising the IT department, Jacob’s responsibilities include management and support of all technology assets, developing business continuity & strategic plans, administering IT policies and procedures, and auditing information systems for compliance and security standards.

Jacob has over 15 years of experience in the technology field. Prior to joining Stratos in 2009 he provided IT consulting, network administration and network security to his clients. Jacob brings valuable industry knowledge, technical capabilities and leadership skills to his current role that he has obtained throughout his earlier career where he served in roles as a network technician, systems administrator and IT consultant.

Jacob attended Youngstown State University where he studied Computer Information Systems and played collegiate football. His IT certifications include MCITP, CCSA and he is currently obtaining his ITIL v3 and MCSE certification. Jacob resides in Austintown Ohio with his wife and two children.
